There is no need to take your jewellery to a professional to have them cleaned in most cases. For a simple cleaning of dirt and other residue, follow this simple tip for best results.
Fill up a cup with clean warm water and add a drop of mild dish soap. Swirl the mixture until the soap bubbles form and place your jewellery inside. You can shake the mixture with the jewellery inside to get the soap working well inside all hidden spots. After about a minute, take out your jewellery and continue to clean by hand or a soft brush to remove the rest of the residue.
